Nycto is prone to starting new projects while berating themselves for the (usually) impulsive choice. Despite being a mod for several zines, this is the first fan event they are moderating.
Silver-colour

Silver used to think they didn't like horror, until The Magnus Archives proved them wrong. Even so, they write mostly one-shot fics full of fluff. This is the first tma event they've ever joined– and they're very excited to see what wonderful things everyone will be creating!

Liz first started listening to The Magnus Archives to get through long days trying to edit the human genome. This is their first time modding an exchange and they’re looking forward to getting stuck in to fandom!
FAQ
What is this?
This is an online fan exchange event to celebrate Valentine's Day within The Magnus Archives fandom. Who you are gifting to and who will be gifting to you will remain a secret! Then, on Valentine's Day, we will reveal ourselves and exchange our gifts. Hopefully, with this, everyone will feel a little more loved! (A more common variation of this event are Secret Santa exchanges!)
What gifts can we give?
We will only allow TMA fanfics and fanart as gifts. If you have created traditional art, make sure to scan it instead of photographing it.
What is the minimum requirements for my gift?
Written gifts should be at least 1000 words. Art pieces should be at least lined art.
Is NSFW allowed?
Yes! However, only for those who are above 18. If you are a minor, you cannot create or request for NSFW!
How does it work?
Fill up the signup form with relevant details. We will match you with another participant using the information you provide.
Once the signups close and match-ups are done, you will receive an email with your giftee's information and request (psst remember to keep your assignments a secret). You will be given a creation period (approx. 5 weeks) and you will create your gift for them based on the prompts they provide!
Finally, when the creation period is over, you will post your gifts on Tumblr and send them to your giftee! If you are posting it elsewhere, please embed it into a Tumblr post and post it there as well.
Do we have to keep who we're creating for a secret?
Well, isn't it fun to have a few secrets? Please try to keep things under wraps. It is a little more exciting and surprising that way.

What if I've signed up but I cannot complete my assignment...
Unfortunately, we're in pretty rough times and we can't predict what will happen. Just tell us as soon as possible so we can arrange with you. It could be an extension or finding a pinch-hitter to cover for you.
What does it mean to be a pinch-hitter?
It means that if someone, for whatever reason, has dropped out of the exchange, we might contact you to ask if you would like to step in to ensure everyone receives a gift! Pinch-hitters can have a later deadline (7 Mar) if they are called upon!
What if I want to clarify something with my giftee?
Please do not contact them yourself! Come to the mod team and we will contact them on your behalf. You could send us an ask (off-anon) or DM us on Tumblr.
What if I'm not comfortable with the prompts I receive?
Hopefully, with the extensive signup form, we will give you a good match. However, if there really is an issue with the prompt, reach out to us ASAP and we'll work something out with you!
Will there be any restrictions in terms of ships/pairings?
